Police in Florida have arrested a man who tossed a liter a urine at officers who were responding to a 911 call at the residence. After knocking on the suspect’s door at West Palm Beach to investigate a call that had been made, the police were doused in urine when Alfonsa Loftin greeted them.

The 40-year-old then immediately shut the door and barricaded himself in the house so that officers could not get to him for several hours. When they failed to convince him to surrender, they eventually resorted to breaking down the door to gain access to the property. Loftin still resisted arrest and continued to throw more urine at the police and even put one of the officers into a headlock.

He has since been charged with two counts of aggravated battery on a police officer and two counts of resisting an officer with violence. Police say he could also face more serious charges as the urine could be considered a deadly weapon because of the fact it could cause infections or bodily harm.
