Who'd have thought that in 2015 the best original score category would still be led by John Williams and Ennio Morricone? This award was well-deserved and extremely overdue. I almost joined in the standing ovation, which would have been silly because I was watching the show by myself. I was very glad that they didn't try to "play him off" with the orchestra, but let him have the time he deserved for his speech and translator.
