For some odd reason, people tend to love dramatic and dangerous activities that could mean their life comes to an end. Roller coasters are quite dangerous, but they are also incredibly thrilling and adventurous. The adrenaline release that most people receive when riding one keeps them coming back for more again and again. The freedom to do such an activity is also quite the motivator, so most amusements parks receive millions of people every year for those attractions. They keep getting bigger and faster! Here are ten of the most insane roller coasters ever built.
Rebel Yell, located at Kings Dominion, opened in 1975. The roller coaster, despite being quite terrifying and fast, has earned more than a few awards for being safe and uniquely designed.
Batman: The Ride, found at Six Flags Over Georgia, may not be the tallest, fastest, or nicest looking roller coaster. However, in 2008, a young man was decapitated by the car while trying to retrieve his hat. It has since become quite a macabre attraction.
